Overview

Powertrain And Performance
A 1.8-liter, 16-valve, SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine teamed with a smooth-shifting 5-speed manual transmission delivers 140 hp. The Civic HF is equipped with aerodynamic components for improved efficiency and Honda ECO Assist technology, a technology that can enhance efficient vehicle operation while providing feedback to promote more efficient individual driving styles.
Build And Styling
The Civic HF comes with 15-Inch lightweight alloy wheels, air conditioning with air-filtration system, i-MID with five-inch LCD screen and customizable feature settings, illuminated steering wheel-mounted cruise, audio, phone, a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, SMS text messaging functionality and i-MID controls, center console with sliding armrest and storage compartment and 160-Watt AM/FM/CD audio system with four speakers. It is also equipped with low-rolling-resistance tires and aerodynamic cast-aluminum wheels, wind-cheating underbody panels and a rear spoiler.
Safety Features
An array of safety technologies including Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure; vehicle stability control; side curtain airbags; driver's and front passenger's side airbags with a passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); and dual-stage, dual-threshold driver's and front passenger airbags (SRS) is standard. Active front seat head restraints are designed to help reduce the likelihood of neck injury in the event of a rear collision. The other features include an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic brake distribution, front seatbelts with an automatic tensioning system, and a pedestrian injury mitigation design incorporated into the front exterior of the vehicle.
