Overview

The 2013 Honda Crosstour has been tweaked for this year and now it looks more stylish. Honda has updated it with a more-capable-looking exterior styling direction. The V6 engine has also been fine tuned for better fuel economy and now comes with a new six-speed automatic transmission.

Powertrain And Performance

The 2013 Honda Crosstour will be powered by 2.4-liter four cylinder engine with five speed automatic transmission. However, the high end variants will be backed by a revised 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled to a new six-speed automatic transmission aimed to offer more fuel economy.

Build And Styling

The standard features on the 2013 Honda Crosstour EX include projector beam headlights, fog lights, body-colored power side mirrors with defrost, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with second row ventilation, 360-Watt AM/FM 6-disc audio system with seven speakers, easy fold-down 60-40 split rear seat back, 17-inch aluminum wheels, hidden removable utility box, cruise control, moonroof, steering wheel-integrated audio controls, compass and outside temperature indicator. Climate control buttons which are most commonly used are now positioned on the left side of the control stack for drivers convenience. The less frequently used buttons can be found on the right. The Honda Crosstour EX-L rolls on 18-inch aluminum wheels and comes with cargo privacy cover, HomeLink transmitter, Kevlar cone speakers, aluminum dome type front tweeter speakers and a USB audio interface with a number of leather features like leather trimmed seats, leather steering wheel and leather gear shift knob. A 6-disc AM/FM in-dash CD changer with 6 speakers plus subwoofer is standard along with USB Audio Interface, Radio Data System (RDS) and XM Radio. With rear seats up, the Crosstour offers a cargo space of 25.7 cubic feet. Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition and Rearview Camera with Guidelines and Steering Wheel-Mounted Navigation Controls are available. For 2013 Honda has freshened its look with new improved grille, tailgate, fascias and moldings and added new 18-inch alloy wheels.

Safety Features

The 2013 Honda Crosstour comes with an impressive list of safety technology found in every Accord like Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution and brake assist; side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor; driver's and front passengers side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); dual-stage, multiple threshold front airbags; and active front seat head restraints.
